Affiliate program terms

1. The program

The Earn with SoftProgrammer affiliate program ("the program") lets approved partners earn commission by referring new clients to SoftProgrammer. Joining is free. Applications are reviewed by our team and approval is at our discretion. We may decline or remove any affiliate whose promotion methods conflict with these terms or with how we want our brand represented.

2. Referral tracking

Each affiliate receives a unique referral parameter (?ref=your-link-name) that works on any page of softprogrammer.com. When a visitor arrives through your link, we set a first-party cookie valid for 60 days. If a visitor clicks links from multiple affiliates, the most recent click wins.

A referral is attributed when a visitor with a valid referral cookie creates an account or signs in as a new client. Attribution applies only to new clients: visitors who already have a client account or existing orders with SoftProgrammer do not qualify, and each client can only ever be attributed to one affiliate. Tracking depends on cookies; visitors who block or clear cookies, or who arrive through a different path after the cookie expires, may not be attributed.

3. Commissions

Commissions accrue automatically on payments made by clients you referred, for 12 months from the date of attribution: 15% of every Host (subscription) payment, and 10% of Own (one-time build) project fees. Revenue Share engagements are custom deals, so commission on those is agreed individually and set manually by our team.

Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid, excluding taxes, refunds, and chargebacks. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the corresponding commission is voided. We reserve the right to review and void commissions that result from fraud, self-referral, or violations of these terms.

4. Payouts

Payouts are made monthly via PayPal or bank transfer once your pending balance reaches $50 (USD). Balances below the minimum roll over to the next month. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details and for any taxes on your affiliate earnings.

5. What is not allowed

Self-referrals (referring your own accounts or businesses you control in order to earn commission on your own purchases) do not qualify and will be voided. Also prohibited: cookie stuffing or any technique that sets the referral cookie without a genuine user click; spam (unsolicited bulk email, comment spam, messaging spam); misleading claims about SoftProgrammer, our pricing, or our services; bidding on "SoftProgrammer" or confusingly similar terms in paid search; and representing yourself as SoftProgrammer rather than as an independent partner.

Violations may result in voided commissions, suspension, or removal from the program.

6. Changes and termination

Either side can end participation at any time — you by contacting us, and we by suspending or closing your affiliate account. Earned, valid commissions above the payout minimum at the time of termination will still be paid out, except in cases of fraud or terms violations.

We may update commission rates, the attribution window, or other program terms from time to time. Changes apply to future referrals and will not reduce commission terms on clients already attributed to you; we will give notice of material changes via email or your affiliate dashboard.

7. General

Affiliates are independent partners, not employees, agents, or representatives of SoftProgrammer. Nothing in the program creates a partnership or joint venture. These terms are provided in addition to our general website terms of service. Questions about the program? Contact us any time.
